Political-watch is a non-partisan effort to increase awareness on political issues and news through the use of transparency, public engagement and technology.
We hope to be able to educate new generations of Singaporeans about the importance of democracy and to encourage fellow Singaporeans to engage more in the political process for the progress of our nation.
Modelled after TheyWorkForYou.com, a non-profit UK website that "aims to help bridge this growing democratic disconnect, in the belief that there is little wrong with Parliament that a healthy mixture of transparency and public engagement won't fix.", we hope to see the same results here in Singapore.
